Surveys are Out & Preview of Songs to Mutate By

Hi everyone, 

We wanted to update you on a couple of important and exciting developments. 

Pledge Manager is Open

As you may have seen, we have sent out surveys for your rewards through Backerkit. The pledge manager will be open until at least April, so you have plenty of time to fill out the survey, purchase add-ons and make adjustments. We know some backers have had questions about the cost of shipping: we realize shipping costs are always a difficult part of the Kickstarter, and we want you to know we are trying to offer the best rates we can. We are still being heavily impacted by fluctuating carrier pricing, which is giving us some challenges in accounting for shipping cost several months down the road.  If we can improve the cost of shipping by the time we charge cards later this year we absolutely will. 

Surveys - Tips & Help

If you haven't seen the survey e-mail yet, check the e-mail account associated with your Kickstarter profile for the link, and check your spam and/or promotional folders. If you still can't find it you can always use this recovery link to retrieve you Backer survey:

We intend to keep the pledge manager will be open until at least April, at which point we will lock orders for processing and to begin manufacturing.

Songs to Mutate By

We also wanted to announce that the soundtrack has been finished by our composer, and we've added one of the songs for preview below. This is one of tracks you can use for combat with one of the new mutated monsters. We hope you enjoy!

That's all the major updates for now: progress on the book, cards and the art is progressing well, we want to give a big shout out to our primary artists Kevin and Brendan for their hard work: we'll be doing a highlight on their incredible art later this year.

December Progress Update!

Hi Backers! 

Happy holidays from the Dice Dungeons' crew! We've been working hard on the project creating stat blocks, writing lore, and collating art. We've also started production on several of the add-ons (resin dice and stone dice are almost finished). We've also brought a new artist on board, Brendan, who has been creating fantastic art for the creatures. Here is one of his new illustrations, the alligator mount! Who hasn't wanted to ride a horse-gator into battle? We'll have a stat block for this good bitey boi soon. 

Keeping you updated on our progress: 

We are going to try and post at least monthly, more frequently when we have interesting things to share. We have also heard the suggestions from backers about putting a graphic on the progress of the project for easy reference. We like this idea and are working on something now.

Thank you all so much for a fantastic campaign! Thanks to you we are bringing the Mutated Monsters book and decks to life! Here are some details on what is happening next.

Next Steps

The next step is for us to continue producing art and put the books and decks together! We are diligently working away to bring all this new content to you. 

Surveys and the pledge manager

 Kickstarter will send us the funds for the campaign once they charge all cards: we know the holidays are coming, and we have plenty to do on our end, so we will release the backerkit store in February 2022 to give everyone plenty of time to select their rewards and add any add-ons. We will send every backer a rewards survey (via BackerKit) that will allow you to  access the pledge manager, and select any add-ons you may want. If you pledged for $1, you will still receive a survey and be able to access the pledge manager to purchase the books, decks, or add-ons as you'd like - or even upgrade your pledge. Make sure to keep a lookout for your survey, and check your spam or promotional folder if you don't see it. We will keep the survey open for several weeks, after which we close the pledge manager and begin manufacturing and production. 

Details and reminders:

• Surveys will open in February 2022.
• While the surveys are active you will be able to upgrade your pledge and/or add more items.
• You can update your address up until shipping begins. Just login to your backerkit account and change it!
• The rewards will all ship around the same time (Our target delivery date remains December 2022). Digital rewards will be released early. 
• If any of your friends missed the Kickstarter, our pre-order store is open, so tell any friends that may have missed  out on the campaign! (Pre-Orders will ship after backers receive their  items.)

Play Tests 

As we finish all the art for the book and decks, we will be releasing play test materials and alpha versions of the digital content to get feedback from backers, so you can help us proof the final product and give us any feedback before we go to print. More details on play testing will be forthcoming in a future update!

Final Hours! 75k Goal Unlocked

Hi Everyone! 

We are in the final hours of the campaign and we are excited to see our final stretch goal unlocked before the end! We'll now be offering a free VTT token pack to all backers at the PDF tier or higher. 

The deluxe printed physical punch-out version of the token set is also available now as an add-on option for your pledge, and it will also be available in our Backerkit add-on store after the campaign ends. These high quality printed tokens are sized for use on a one inch grid.

New Miniatures and New STL Tier: Every STL for $40!

Hi Backers!

We have a couple exciting updates to share, first up, the new Aberrantis miniatures! Our artist has completed the creature-based Aberrantis minis, here a couple shots of the STLs. 

New Pledge Tier

Several of our 3d-printing enthusiastic backers have reached out asking if we will offer all the STLs in a pack, and the answer is YES! We've just set up a pledge tier called "All STLs" for $40. Back this level, and you will receive every STL we create for free (currently at 11 STLs, 9-1' and 2-2"minis.) If we unlock more miniatures, those STLs will be added to the pack at no additional cost! We've also made it an add-on for those who want to add it to their pledge. 

We hope you'll share this new tier with all your mini-printing friends, and help us keep growing the project!
